ANALYSIS OF STUDENT WORK

Analysis of Student Work is the Standard 6 process of the NC Educator Evaluation System (NCEES) for Arts Education, Healthful Living, World Language, Advanced Placement, and International Baccalaureate educators. It is a process where teachers collect student work around objectives representing their teaching assignment and submit an Evidence Collection of artifacts illustrating student growth to an online platform for evaluation by reviewers who have content area expertise. For questions regarding the ASW Process, please check the Frequently Asked Questions or FAQ on the ASW Wikispace at http://ncasw.ncdpi.wikispaces.net/FAQ. If your ASW question is not yet on the FAQ, please email it to educatoreffectiveness@dpi.nc.gov.

There are a wealth of resources available on the ASW wikispace, which will help administrators and educators to implement the ASW process. Visit:
